So You Lost the Weight. Here Comes the Part Nobody Talks About.

GLP-1 medications changed everything. But loose skin and stubborn fat after Ozempic are real, common, and fixable. Meet BodyTite, the minimally invasive procedure that actually finishes what your medication started.

By Be Medispa  |  Dr. Paul Hester, Award-Winning Body Contouring Specialist

Let’s be honest for a second.

You did everything right. You got the prescription, you committed to the lifestyle changes, and you showed up even when it was hard. Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, whatever your GLP-1 journey looked like, the number on the scale finally moved. You hit your goal. You thought you would feel incredible.

And you do, mostly. But then you look in the mirror and notice the loose skin on your abdomen. The soft, crepey area on your inner thighs. The stubborn pocket on your flank that did not get the memo that you lost 40 pounds. And you think: why does my body still not look the way I imagined?

You are not alone, and you are not doing anything wrong. This is one of the most common conversations happening in aesthetic medicine right now. And there is a reason for it, a real physiological reason, and more importantly, a real solution.

Your body did the hard work. BodyTite is how you show for it.

WHAT YOUR MEDICATION CANNOT DO

The Truth About Skin After GLP-1 Weight Loss

GLP-1 medications are remarkably effective at reducing fat. But here is the thing about skin: it does not care how motivated you are, how clean you eat, or how consistent you are at the gym. Skin is structural. When it has been stretched over a larger body for months or years, the collagen and elastin fibers that give it firmness and elasticity get permanently overstretched.

When fat leaves quickly, as it tends to with GLP-1 medications, the skin does not have time to retract. It just sits there, looser than before, over areas where fat used to be. And those stubborn fat pockets that seem immune to everything? That is fat that has been there long enough to become resistant to diet and exercise-based approaches.

No topical cream addresses this. No external device fully corrects it. The problem is structural, and it lives beneath the surface of the skin. That is exactly where BodyTite works.

THE TREATMENT

BodyTite Is the Procedure GLP-1 Patients Have Been Waiting For

BodyTite uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis, or RFAL, a technology that delivers controlled radiofrequency energy directly beneath the skin through a tiny cannula about the width of a pencil tip. It treats the problem from the inside out, targeting both excess fat and loose skin simultaneously.

Here is what is actually happening during treatment:

The fat goes away, permanently. The RF energy heats fat cells until they liquefy. Those cells are then gently suctioned out. They do not grow back. This is not fat reduction. It is fat removal.

The skin tightens progressively. As the energy heats the tissue beneath the skin, it triggers immediate collagen contraction and long-term collagen remodeling. Skin firms up gradually over three to six months after treatment, looking better as time passes, not just in the days right after.

The result? A smoother, more contoured body. Not an overdone, obviously-done look. Just your body, the version you have been working toward this whole time.

Not a menu item. A specialty. Dr. Hester has performed hundreds of BodyTite procedures and been nationally recognized at The Aesthetic Show for his results.

WHERE IT WORKS

Every Area GLP-1 Patients Ask Us About

BodyTite can treat virtually any area where loose skin and stubborn fat are showing up after weight loss. The most common areas for post-GLP-1 patients include:

  • The abdomen and lower belly are the areas most affected by rapid weight loss
  • Flanks and love handles, where fat holds on the longest
  • Inner and outer thighs
  • Upper arms, where loose skin is especially noticeable
  • Bra line and back
  • Knees

Dr. Hester will assess each area individually during your consultation. Multiple areas can often be treated in a single session, resulting in fewer procedures, less downtime, and a more comprehensive outcome.

THE EXPERT BEHIND IT

Why Who Does This Matter More Than You Think

BodyTite is not a device you can just plug in and point at someone. The results are entirely technique-dependent. The precision of the energy delivery, the depth of treatment, the aesthetic judgment about contour and proportion, all of that comes from the provider, not the machine.

At Be Medispa, BodyTite is performed by Dr. Hester, who has been recognized at The Aesthetic Show, one of the most prestigious events in nonsurgical aesthetics, for his outcomes in nonsurgical body enhancement. He has performed hundreds of BodyTite procedures and approaches every single one with the same philosophy: this is about revealing the body you have worked for. Not creating a new one.

Every consultation with Dr. Hester is a real conversation. He maps the areas of concern, sets realistic expectations, and designs a treatment plan tailored to your specific anatomy. If BodyTite is not the right answer for you, he will tell you that, too.

WHAT TO EXPECT

From Consultation to Results: The Full Picture

The consultation

This is where the real planning happens. Dr. Hester will assess your skin laxity, fat distribution, and tissue quality. He will photograph treatment areas, walk you through what realistic results look like for your anatomy, and answer every question before you make any commitment.

The procedure

Everything happens right here at Be Medispa, under local tumescent anesthesia. You are awake and comfortable throughout. Most sessions run between one and three hours, depending on the number of areas being treated. You go home the same day.

The recovery

Most patients are back at a desk job within five to seven days. You will wear a compression garment for four to six weeks while the tissue heals. Moderate activity resumes around the two-week mark. It is not a walk in the park, but it is not a surgery recovery either.

The results

Initial contouring shows up within weeks. The skin-tightening effect builds over three to six months as new collagen forms beneath the skin. Because the fat cells are physically removed, the results are long-lasting as long as your weight stays stable.

IS THIS FOR YOU?

The GLP-1 Patient Profile for BodyTite

You are likely a great candidate if any of these sound familiar:

  • You have lost 20 pounds or more on a GLP-1 medication and are at or near a stable weight
  • You have loose or sagging skin on your abdomen, arms, thighs, or flanks that is not improving on its own
  • You have stubborn fat deposits that have not responded to continued diet and exercise
  • You want a real, lasting result without general anesthesia or weeks of surgical recovery
  • You are in good overall health and a non-smoker, or are willing to stop before treatment

One timing note to keep in mind: we recommend being at a stable weight for at least 3 months before your BodyTite procedure. Continued significant weight loss after treatment can affect your results. Dr. Hester will go over all of this with you during your consultation.

QUICK COMPARISON

BodyTite vs. Surgical Body Contouring

For many post-GLP-1 patients, BodyTite delivers everything they need. Here is how it compares to traditional surgical options:

  BodyTite Tummy tuck/body lift
Anesthesia Local (awake) General
Incisions Tiny access ports Long surgical scars
Downtime 5 to 7 days 4 to 6 weeks
Fat removal Yes, permanent Yes, permanent
Skin tightening Significant Maximum
Best for Moderate laxity, targeted areas Severe skin excess or large skin panels

Your weight loss is an achievement. Your body should show it.

If you are ready to see what is actually possible for your body, come in for a consultation with Dr. Hester at Be Medispa. It is a conversation, not a commitment. Bring your questions, your before photos if you have them, and a realistic sense of what finishing the transformation could mean for you.
