Skin Rejuvenation and Firming with Fractora RF | Lexington, KY

The Ultimate Non-Invasive Skin Renovation Without Surgery

Dr. Hester and Chasity Hester have over 25 years of experience working with laser resurfacing, fractional laser resurfacing, microneedling, deep chemical peels, and a variety of other skin treatment options. Knowing the advantages and disadvantages of each procedure, BeMedispa is now proud to offer Fractora as the latest anti-aging solution for better, longer-lasting skin care results.

What is Fractora?

Fractora uses radiofrequency (“RF”) energy delivered through microneedles inserted into the skin. The skin is treated from the inside out, allowing Fractora to target deeper areas than most traditional laser treatments. Fractora simultaneously:

  • Resurfaces the top layers of the skin to reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkles, scars, and skin discoloration.
  • Reinvigorates collagen production at the deep, dermal skin layer to reduce skin sagging and deeper wrinkles.
  • Tightens skin by targeting the radio-frequency heat in the deep tissue, which causes skin tightening and smoothing.

Fractora Treatment Areas

Fractora is appropriate for any area of skin that needs resurfacing, rejuvenation, or tightening. The most commonly treated areas include:

  • Lower eyelid
  • Upper eyelid
  • Smile lines
  • Forehead
  • Cheeks
  • Mouth
  • Neck

Though it’s commonly used as a type of non-surgical facelift, Fractora can also be effective to tighten skin on the stomach and legs.

The Best Candidates for Fractora

Fractora can help anyone and any age. Most importantly, it is completely customizable to the needs of the individual patient. Fractora uses different sized microneedles and varying concentrations of energy. As a result, Fractora is used for superficial treatments AND more concentrated, deeper skin treatments. Fractora is completely customizable to your specific needs, allowing for the best possible results.

Skin Conditions Treated by Fractora

  • Fine lines and wrinkles of the face, neck, and chest
  • Large pores
  • Loose eyelid skin
  • Brown spots and uneven skin tone
  • Sun damage
  • Scars: acne, chicken pox, surgical, or traumatic scars
  • Stretch marks
  • Loose skin on the face, neck, and chest
  • Small spider vessels
  • Loose skin on the stomach or legs

Fractora Procedure

First, the treatment area is numbed with a topical cream for about 30 minutes. As the procedure is conducted, you experience a prickling sensation. Some also experience pressure as the Fractora needles penetrate the epidermis, but many people experience no pain during or after the 30-minute procedure. At Be Medispa, we pride ourselves on making your experience as comfortable as possible.

Fractora Downtime and Recovery

Unlike other procedures, Fractora requires less downtime, less risk of post-procedural complications such as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and melasma, and very little sun sensitivity post-recovery. The treatment area will be moderately to significantly red immediately following treatment, but typically subsides within several hours. Swelling is typical and tiny scabs from the microneedles form between 2 and 5 days and heal within a week or two. Your skin is fully healed in about two weeks, with your skin appearing fresh, new, even-toned, restored, and rejuvenated.

Fractora Results

Depending on the individual patient, the skin conditions to be addressed, and the skin goals to be achieved, Be Medispa suggests a course of 2-4 Fractora treatments. We recommend that you complete the entire course before determining the success of the treatment. Fractora provides exceptional results addressing both deep and superficial wrinkles as well as skin laxity, scars, and overall skin health and appearance.
