Fractora can help anyone and any age. Most importantly, it is completely customizable to the needs of the individual patient. Fractora uses different sized microneedles and varying concentrations of energy. As a result, Fractora is used for superficial treatments AND more concentrated, deeper skin treatments. Fractora is completely customizable to your specific needs, allowing for the best possible results.
First, the treatment area is numbed with a topical cream for about 30 minutes. As the procedure is conducted, you experience a prickling sensation. Some also experience pressure as the Fractora needles penetrate the epidermis, but many people experience no pain during or after the 30-minute procedure. Unlike other procedures, Fractora requires less downtime, less risk of post-procedural complications such as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and melasma, and very little sun sensitivity post-recovery. The treatment area will be moderately to significantly red immediately following treatment, but typically subsides within several hours. Swelling is typical and tiny scabs from the microneedles form between 2 and 5 days and heal within a week or two. Your skin is fully healed in about two weeks, with your skin appearing fresh, new, even-toned, restored, and rejuvenated.
