Paul L. Hester, M.D., M.B.A.
Dr. Hester has been a trusted clinician for over 30 years and remains an innovative leader in healthcare education and delivery. He is Board Certified and an expert in the therapeutic and cosmetic use of neuromodulators, the cosmetic use of dermal fillers,the aesthetic use of lasers and other energy-based treatments, tumescent contouring, sclerotherapy, and advanced skincare.
He has authored several articles on healthy aging and cosmetic medicine, in addition to being a speaker, and faculty member on both a local and national level. Dr. Hester has studied under many of the world’s leading specialists in surgical and non-surgical cosmetic medicine, including physician pioneers in use of cosmetic neurotoxins, ablative and non-ablative laser techniques, advanced therapies and autologous bio-cellular grafting.
Prior to his specialty training, Dr. Hester completed his medical studies and residency training at the University of Kentucky, where he achieved medical licensure in 1991, served as Chief Resident 1993-1994, and was board certified in 1994. Chasity Hester, PA-C
Chasity has dedicated over 30 years to the field of medicine, establishing herself as a trusted clinician to thousands of patients. As a Board-Certified Physician Assistant with extensive certifications in Aesthetic Medicine, she co-practices with her husband, Dr. Paul Hester, at their award-winning medical practice, Be Medispa, in Lexington, Kentucky.
As the Clinical Director of Be Medispa, Chasity and Dr. Hester personally train and oversee their carefully selected medical staff. They have developed a rigorous medical aesthetic training program for RNs, NPs, and PAs that covers skin physiology, functional 3D anatomy, laser physics, energy-based technologies, neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and bio-stimulatory and regenerative products.
Chasity completed her physician assistant studies at the University of Kentucky and achieved medical licensure and Board Certification in 1995. Additionally, Chasity is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, providing metabolic and hormonal optimization plans for men and women and non-surgical feminine rejuvenation. When it comes to microneedling, they perform around 50 treatments each month, adding up to 600 sessions every year. Additionally, we administer approximately 12,500 units of neurotoxin monthly, equating to 150,000 units per year. These figures highlight the immense experience of the practitioners, ensuring they have perfected their techniques over thousands of procedures.

Susan graduated from the University of Kentucky Physician Assistant Program in 2017 and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Susan transitioned into the field of aesthetics and immediately found her passion. She enjoys working at Be Medispa as she gets to help patients regain their confidence through aesthetic procedures and medical grade products on a daily basis. She is a very patient provider who wants you to leave your appointment feeling heard, supported, and more knowledgeable on aesthetics. With a meticulous, artful eye she will focus on achieving your aesthetic goals while creating natural enhancements and a long term sustainable plan.
Miranda Dean, RN
Miranda is originally from Lancaster, Ohio but made Georgetown her home when she began her undergraduate education at the University of Kentucky in 2006. She went on to graduate as a registered nurse from St. Catherine College in 2011. She began her professional career in an intermediate care step down unit and later plastic surgery. Her knowledge in plastic surgery brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in body and facial contouring. What she loves most about working at Be Medispa is seeing the growth of confidence of patients each and every visit.
Julianne Diamond-Phillips, BSN, RN
Julianne, a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron in 2020 and secured her Registered Nursing license through the National Council Licensure Examination. Originally from Medina, Ohio, she relocated to Lexington in 2020 to embark on her career as an ICU Nurse. Julianne's passion for aesthetics shines through in her work, as she strives to help patients enhance their confidence through personalized care and attention to detail. She is a patient provider who will take the time to listen and address all of your aesthetic questions, ensuring that you leave feeling and looking your best.
