    7. How should I prepare for my treatment?

Preparations vary based on the specific treatment. Here are some general guidelines:

  • IPL: Cease using retinol/tretinoin 3-5 days prior. Avoid sun exposure without sunscreen for two weeks before and after the treatment. Do not use self-tanner or spray tans at least a week before your appointment. IPL treatments are typically conducted in a series for optimal results.
  • RF Microneedling: Stop retinol/tretinoin at least five days before your appointment and avoid direct sun exposure for two weeks before and after the treatment.
  • Tox/Filler: Refrain from aspirin, ibuprofen, and alcohol 48 hours before treatment. Continue aspirin if prescribed by your doctor—schedule treatments at least four weeks before significant events to allow for settling and potential adjustments.
  • Avoid scheduling treatments within two weeks of a significant event to prevent any possible swelling or bruising.

We're dedicated to ensuring your visit is both pleasant and rewarding. Should you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're excited to embark on this journey of wellness and confidence with you.
